CBC Industries AR-15 Upper Review
Quality is the problem over at CBC industries, and while the performance doesn’t necessarily lack, I just think that they could deliver a better product.

I think you guys may have heard enough about CBC industries, but I am here to have another go at them. Now I want to preface this whole thing by saying that CBC Industries does not treat their customers badly, however getting a hold of them can be a hit or miss. Calling them is probably the best option. And I will say that in my experience, I did not have nany issues with customer service. My problem is purely with what I received from them even after trying to fix the issues I had with the AR-15 upper I bought from them.

Quality is the problem over at CBC industries, and while the performance doesn’t necessarily lack, I just think that they could deliver a better product. Much My forward assist looked worked to hell when I received it, and for a piece that is relatively useless in a civilian setting, I wouldn’t expect it to be that worn out looking. My dust cover was inoperable as well as it was impossible to keep in a closed position for  more than two seconds. That isn’t a piece a civilian is using much either, but it still ought to be functional especially if it goes into the cost I am paying for it.

There were some shaved bits on the tip of my barrel which had made their way to the inside of the barrel as well. I cleaned them up but it was worth noting, definitely give your cbc an inspection if you buy one.

After calling them and getting a return label so they could fix my issues, I was pleased to see that they had come through on their promises and fixed everything. They replaced my pieces and I was able to take it out to shoot. Like I said the gun works pretty well for how I intended it. I don’t see it being a match tier build though. I would recommend CBC at your own peril. They will try to work with you on their mistakes.

  1. the holes in the uppers are to big ,you can push the lower forward and the upper backward, they told me they were mill spec, both cbc uppers do that all the other 6 i built were tight but none of the cbc uppers, I use anderson arms & PSA arms lowers.

  2. I have ben waiting 3 months on a bolt carrier group for a pistol kit i ordered in January, they sent a 10 percent off my next order . on line they are giving 20 percent off what ever you order WHAT A JOKE. they told me they could refund me $70 what the bolt carrier group runs ,,I told them $70 buckes there like $150 or so at PSA Arms .DAMN IT.
