Colt has been one of the best gun manufacturers in American History and I was so excited to finally get the chance to buy from them. I was able to get a Single Action army 7.5”. Now I am a stickler for historic firearms and that meant I couldn’t pass up the chance to buy the single army revolver, revered as the gun of the old west. After shooting it, there was no question of the pure craftsmanship of this handgun. Maybe it’s not the gun you want to take out as a gun for self defense, since there are more suitable weapons available today. If not for self defense, then just to have a piece of engineering and craftsmanship that gave America the character it does today. I would highly recommend getting the peacemaker if you are into the history, but also if you are into reliable firearms.
